I applied via an agency I'd been using on and off, and was put forward for the role.
Within 2 days I had an interview organised for a few days later.
I was supposed to meet the HR manager and Client Services Director (fancy title for support team manager!) but the HR person couldnt be bothered to attend on the day.
My half hour or so "interview" with the CSD was laughable, a simple run through my previous relevant experience. I wasn't asked a single technical question, the interviewer preferring to tell me what I already knew (mostly) about the company and the product and type of customers.
Not a single technical question for a technical support and system implementation role. That says it all. A week later the feedback to the agency was that they decided to go with someone "more technical", despite my 12 years in IT and more than 10 years experience relevant to the role. I was in fact likely more qualified than the interviewer (who had said they were from a developer background)
The entire process was a complete waste of my time, and as a result I'd tell anyone who asks to AVOID Wolters Kluwer.
