      Business Intelligence Analyst Interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Wolters Kluwer (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2022

      Interview

I have little to no patience at this point with recruiters reaching out to me on LinkedIn or harassing me via phone/email. The occasional time I decide to respond and see what they have to say, trying to be open to new opportunities it usually ends in wasted time. Like this company. The recruiter kept me on the phone for over 40+ minutes rambling on about this company, the role, and his experience. While I appreciate the insight, and the guy sounded like he did enjoy working for this company, it dragged on. I was then asked to do the second interview with the hiring manager for the team, and I agreed and made my schedule flexible by doing the interview with less than 24 hours' notice. Preparing for these interviews requires several hours of research, preparation, and practice, which apparently this a** hole company doesn't take into account. They said they were desperate to find a BI Analyst and have not found the right fit. I did the interview and was told the following Monday I should hear back with next steps or status. I didn't hear anything, so I emailed the recruiter. He didn't even have the decency to respond to my email or call me on the phone. Gee I wonder why your company can't find people to hire. This is telling of how the company clearly handles outside candidates, and their level of communication across the company. I would avoid this altogether. I dont appreciate having my time wasted, and I deserved to have someone respond back to me or tell me what the status of the two interviews I did. Especially if YOU reached out to me about this position and setting up these interviews. What a waste of everyone's time!
