I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Yelp (New York, NY) in Oct 2021
Interview
Quick process. Initial call with recruiter was brief to ask about my work experience and why I deemed myself to be a good fit for the role, my personal background, and to lay out the expectations of the position. Second interview was done by a hiring manager/sales manager and was a mock sales call. Both people I interviewed with were kind and understanding.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Yelp (Austin, TX) in May 2026
Interview
The interview process was pleasant from start to finish. It included a recruiter phone screen, a video call with the sales manager, a role play exercise, and the opportunity to implement the manager’s feedback.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One question they asked during my interview was what specifically about the role made me feel it was a strong fit for my background and experience.
The interview process with Yelp was a very organized experience. From the first email after I put in my application, to the offer extension call, I always felt well informed and included.
It was a one time interview over video call with a pre call before. One on one with a training manager. Pretty simple not too hard at all. Lasted 30 minutes with questions and role plays.
