I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Zalando (Berlin) in Dec 2021
Interview
Four steps: i completed all of them and got eliminated at the last round. First a coding challenge with codelity, scored 85% and i passed (think about all the corner case, use all your time). Then a 45 minutes call with the recruiter that was very nice and not difficult. Then on the same day, 1hr call with two software engineers with ML knowledge where i had to do a some easy live coding (but be careful) and then more general technical questions with a software lead.
They had many many candidates so they chose on details like on the live coding not having working code on the first run. Relax, don't think about the pressure, re-read the code 20 times until you are absolutely sure.
The people were all absolutely nice. They wanted to give me feedback by videocall and this required 3 weeks, it could be sufficient an email but the HR but was very good at motivating myself to not give up.
