I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Zalando (Berlin) in Apr 2016
Interview
Interview was ok. It felt more like a questionnaire than an actual battery. It was really noticeable from the beginning that they didn't even bother to look at my CV. No questions were made about my experience. The interviewer was nice. However, I think the interview process stick too much to a protocol rather than flowed from the conversation.

Tell me some important figures from Zalando.
What is the difference between project management and product management?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Zalando (Berlin) in Apr 2016
Interview
First there was a Skype interview with HR. At the end she told me she will send me details for the next step - online test. The test is mostly about logical thinking, continuing patterns, calculating some percentages. Note though that you need to answer questions really quickly as it cuts you of (and continue with the next question) if you don't answer fast. The test lasts one hour and you have one week time-frame to do it.
After that there is an onsite interview. We had to do a home task for that (prepare a pitch). First there was a tour around the offices and then an interview with another HR with some typical HR questions (describe a time when you failed, when you worked under pressure...). After that there were 3 different parts - presentation of the home task (pitch), role play (negotiation skills) and case study (come up with a new product and describe it). For every part there were 2 product managers discussing with you.
The interview process was very pleasant, the HR is really trying to make the process nice. They telly you in advance how the process will go. They also tell you their feedback at the end and are always happy to hear how they could improve the process. You really get the feeling that you are not just a number, not one of thousands applicants, but they care about you.

Question 1
What do you know about Zalando - when was it established, how many employees, their revenue, in how many countries are they present...)?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Zalando (Berlin) in Jan 2014
Interview
The first step is an online form, send in your documents, cover letter, CV and documents. Than I had a phone interview with one of the product managers, it was very fair, mostly technical questions. He mentioned then that they want to invite me to the AC. Out of 15 people an unknown number of applicants was selected. The AC (one day) consisted of computer tests (numeracy, interpretation of diagrams), interview 1:1, group discussion (approx. 8 people), presentation (15 minutes presentation, 25 minutes for preparation)
