I applied online. I interviewed at Zalando (Berlin) in Jul 2017
Interview
I had three interviews with different people, the interviews themselves were nice and pleasant, mostly behavioral questions. But the whole process was very long; I had to send two follow up emails after my final interview in order to get any answer. Well, I figured out I didn’t get the job after I saw the same position being re-posted but I was still pursuing a feedback especially when they had promised it. So at the end they did lie in the email that they have been trying to reach me on the phone (how come I “missed” only their phone call and I didn’t receive any notifications about it). After three interviews it is normal to expect actual feedback and not a rejection template, with no reasons stated why you were not successful for the job. Maybe they didn’t know what to say and they knew I was going to ask if they REALLY made a phone call to me. I will not consider applying at Zalando ever, very slow process, the whole good impression which I had initially simply disappeared. If it is really the way they treat their candidates, then I am happy I didn’t become part of that team.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Zalando (Berlin) in Apr 2017
Interview
A long process (4+ weeks), was declined for the job position I applied for, but they offered another position in the same team. At first it was a bit confusing, because you are interviewed by several members of the team with different job titles, became clear during the process. Had a very good experience overall.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Zalando (Berlin)
Interview
3 steps process, telephone and face to face interviews (or online medium with video)
You will meet the lead, some of your peers and even colleagues from supporting departments.
The interview is classical, around the CV, background and future interests. It can be personal and pleasant but it can also prove to be impersonal dependent on the counterpart
