The recruitment process at Zalando is pretty thorough but fair. After a quick HR screening, I had a skills test and a couple of interviews, focusing both on my technical skills and how I'd fit into the team. It’s well-organized, and although it takes a bit of time, you feel like they genuinely want to make sure you’re the right fit.

Initial introduction interview with the recruiter and then hiring manager. I was tasked with an extensive case study as to what tools I would use, strategies and measurement. After presenting the case study to the hiring manager I had 15 minute interviews with team members.

The process is extremely confusing, as there seems to be a lack of communication between the recruiter and the hiring manager. They often provide conflicting information, leading to misalignment and misunderstandings throughout the hiring process.
