I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Zendesk (Singapore) in Feb 2021
Interview
Decent people I met. Passed all rounds, but got rejected by ghosting.
It was a position at Singapore, but I was interviewed by US engineers mostly. They were all professional. What you read about their culture on their blog is probably true.
In the first round the hiring manager gave me an introduction, unlike other companies who would hit you with a phone screen or take-home assignment.
Then there were 4 or 5 phases altogether including technical and behavioral with the manager and director.
Unfortunately, after the interviews, nobody informed me anything about an offer or rejection for more than a week. Queries to recruiters went unanswered. I assumed they rejected.
