Received a DM from hiring manager giving further context about the requirements of the role and asking how my career experience might contribute to the role effectively. Replied the DM and received an invitation to have an online chat.
This chat was attended by both hiring manager and direct supervisor over the role, and they both asked me more about my career experience so far and my opinion on how I would manage to cope with the requirements of the role. There was also some slightly philosophical sharing about personal ethos and whether it matches the company's values.
Was then asked to attend a face-to-face interview, which consisted of a practical test assignment on running a digital paid media campaign, taken from an actual company case study, and then a subsequent chat with both hiring manager and direct supervisor about my test performance and explaining my reasonings for the answers I gave.
While the interview process was slightly more challenging than usual, company representatives at all times came across as earnest and warm. They were exacting in the type of candidate they are looking for, but were not overbearing.
