The first interview was with the CEO and she was pleasant to speak with. The second interview was with an existing director. She acted like she had better things to do and tried to rush the interview/had no insightful questions for me. I was also tasked with an assignment that I was supposed to present on the second meeting. The woman I spoke with looked at the assignment for 10 seconds and brushed it off. Total waste of time and I can see why reviews say this place doesn’t have a good work environment. Definitely dodged a bullet.
I applied online. I interviewed at hello there Collective (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2026
Interview
I had 2 short 15 minute interviews that went decently well we mostly talked generally about my experience and I seemed to hit all the boxes. I was told I was going to have to do an assessment, they told me they changed the process and had us all sit on an hour long call to go over a "test" give notes and feedback for 2 videos for 2 brands (very vague) and find 5 to 10 influencers for 3 other brands. They had normal parameters but still mostly vague instructions. I did the best I could with literally only getting 30 mins to complete this after the interviewer who was the Director of Influencer(very green btw) took 30 mins to go over the instructions. This was all virtual and we were to submit with a shared google dock on a sheet. 4 other girls were on the call it was super awkward and felt very competitive.
I would not recommend and I wish I looked at their glassdoor page before I applied.
Interviewer was late to the call seemed confused and flustered. We had 10 minutes to speak. Never told me a salary or even what the day to day job scope looked like. Very strange interview to be honest
