I had a headhunter reach out for a potential role at a startup company. I spend hours chatting with her about the role and prepping. She moved me into the interview with the CEO of the company. Tried to follow though for feedback. Apparently their motto was "to be kind". Never received any feedback for the role I interviewed for and spent hours prepping for. Kindness is not their motto. They should change that to rude, childish and unprofessional. When you are at the level of trying to recruit executives and you ghost them, you should not be in the executive retained business. Potential candidates can become your clients but not me. I have shared about the company, the specific recruiter and this experience with my HR network. Let them try to do damager control going forward . A very shameful and childish experience!
