Job Summary

We are seeking a Production Supervisor (Fresher) with 1–2 years of experience in assembly plant operations and hydraulic systems manufacturing/assembly.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day assembly line operations and manpower allocation.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of targets.
• Oversee hydraulic system assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and quality compliance.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, stores, and planning departments for smooth operations.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production and quality issues.
• Maintain production reports, shift records, rejection data, and downtime logs.
• Train operators and technicians on assembly processes and safety practices.
• Monitor machine utilization, productivity, and process efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement activities such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and TPM.
• Ensure proper handling of hydraulic components, tools, and testing equipment.
• Maintain discipline, safety, and housekeeping on the shop floor.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of assembly line operations and hydraulic systems.
• Understanding of hydraulic circuits, pumps, valves, cylinders, and fittings.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and flow schematics.
• Experience in production planning and manpower handling.
• Knowledge of quality tools and manufacturing processes.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing / 5S / Kaizen concepts.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP/MRP systems).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, assembly plant, or machine assembly industry.

Academic Requirements:

· 12th Grade: 80%

· 10th Grade: 80%

· College CGPA: 8.0
