A very reputable Virginia-based transcription company, Soft Scribe LLC serving US clientele, with over 20 years of industry experience is hiring editors for business transcription and legal transcription to work remotely from home on a freelance basis. Work location is not a constraint. We are looking out for experienced editors in either of the transcription segment who can produce client-ready transcripts of 98-99% accuracy.
Responsibilities

• Experienced in producing ready to upload transcripts of live earnings conference calls in a short TAT of 3-6 hours from machine generated transcripts.
• Ability to discern accents from various part of the world.
• Excellent internet research skills and attention to detail and follow the context.
• Flexible in accepting work schedule at any time of the day/night.

Qualifications

• Possess excellent proofreading and editing skills to include excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation.
• Must be reliable, dependable and committed to meeting deadlines.
• Willingness to accept and learn from critical feedback.
• Available and willing to commit time for on-boarding.
• Possess a working foot pedal, shortcut_keys,headset and good knowledge of transcription software.
• Updated fully operational computer system with current licensed anti-virus protection software.
• Must be available via one of the following – Zoom/phone/email/text/google chat/internal instant message system during business day.
• Software to include MS operating system and MS office 2016 or later with current anti-virus protection software.
• High-speed internet connection and reliable power backup.
