    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Interbrand in May 2017.

    Interview

I applied online 25 April, and was contacted on 05 May to schedule a phone screen for 09 May (two business days later). HR phone screens in bulk; I was offered a 30-minute chat during a bulk slot of times.

The phone screen (09 May) lasted for 13 minutes, start to finish. I was asked to discuss my professional background in reverse chronological order. HR responded that they were looking to fill this position immediately, wanted to move forward with the next steps--an in-person interview at my city's Interbrand office. During this same phone screen, they explicitly asked for my availability for the remainder of the week (10 - 12 May), as they wanted me to interview immediately. I shared an extremely flexible schedule (open with the exception of one appointment that I could not move) and was told I would be contacted by the end of the day (09 May) with a day/time of my interview.

I never received further communication from HR with regard to my in-person interview.

    25 April__Date of application
05 May__First contact with HR to schedule phone screen
    09 May__Phone screen
10 May__Sent a 'thank you/looking forward to the next steps' email (within 24 hours of the screen)
12 May__followed up via email as I had yet to receive an appointment for my interview
17 May__followed up again as I had received no communication from HR
22 May__I received a generic and impersonal email: "Thank you for taking the time and interviewing with Interbrand. At this time we have moved forward and extended an offer to another candidate so the role is now closed."

    Unbelievably unprofessional.

TL;DR: Phone screen resulting in HR requesting my availability to coordinate an interview before end of the week. Was 'ghosted' by HR--they never followed through in coordinating the interview and ignored my two follow up emails.
