Mission: Quality Patient Care
Quality is achieving optimal outcomes for our patients through exceptional customer service and effective use of human, technological and financial resources.
I worked at MultiCare Health System part-time (More than a year)
Great benefits, decent hourly pay and shift differentials (you could make more elsewhere but the benefits are worth it), good staff to patient ratios even for CNA, great environmental services team so really clean, opportunities for overtime, many good learning opportunities for those CNAs interested in advancing in the industry.
Management tends to micromanage too much. The drug test also tests for nicotine and they have a strict no smoking policy for employees (thought some still do and have been grandfathered in). They keep going back and forth between being strict and lax on their tattoo/piercing/haircolor dress code policies and it was really annoying every time they would try to revert back to the 20 year old dress code policy.
Advice to Management
Piercings, tattoos and hair color don't determine whether someone is good at their job or not or whether a person is professional or not.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at MultiCare Health System (Auburn, WA (US)) in July 2015.
Networking helps. As you network and volunteer in an organization, the interview becomes easier. Since I knew the department, the interview process was quick which helped. The manager did not know me so I had to go through an interview.
Join us for the Spring Nursing Career Fair on April 11th at the Puyallup Pavilion. Hiring managers from units across the MultiCare system will be on-site!
