Pros

Gaining this experience is beneficial for anyone planning to travel to the UK in the future, as it will provide valuable skills and knowledge. No matter your prior experience, comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided. Selection is based purely on merit—your race, religion, or educational background will not affect your chances if you pass the interview. The decision-making process is fair and unbiased. This role offers a great opportunity for learning and professional growth.

Cons

The director often makes impulsive decisions. Since it's a one-man business, job security is uncertain, and you can be dismissed at any time. Receiving queries is a frequent occurrence. Policies change constantly, making it difficult to keep up. Management rarely acknowledges employees as being in the right. Even if a client is at fault, any dissatisfaction they express could result in an immediate query from the director. There is little to no work-life balance. Overtime is not compensated, yet even being late by a single second can lead to a salary deduction. The experience gained is not particularly valuable within Nigeria. Once deeply involved in the job, you may lose touch with Nigerian tax regulations. Bad management and organizational structure The work environment is toxic and the career growth is slow.
