Pros

This company teaches how to work hard and in a fast-paced environment where excellence is a must. The projects are also very interesting, unique and challenging. There is a lot of growth if you are intentional about standing out as a dependable and committed team member. If you ask for more responsibility, it will be given to you and you will learn.

Cons

The career progression and skills development are unstructured, so after about three years, you can plateau in skills development This is not helped because of the ever-changing nature type of coming in so your skills adapt to the work contracts, rather than the career path you are on so you can become a jack of all trades but master of none. There is no structured route to being promoted - instead, it depends on the CEO/MD who is the founder - yes, for all staff. You can become a generalist without any structure in a field of specialists. The managers do not seem highly technically skilled, which can cap your growth if you want to become a specialist in your field. The few highly skilled managers did not develop their skills from within ASIGMA. This is not great if especially if you are in the early stages of your career and need to become a master in a field. The work is focused on long-term development sector project management and consulting, rather than your typical private sector consulting. This is not a management consulting firm. So there is a damper on skill development due to the monotony that comes with long term projects. It is also not great for people who are outspoken or assertive

Pros

1. Talented junior team members who genuinely care about doing good work. 2. Exposure to multiple sectors if you're new and looking to grow fast.

Cons

1. Products are released before they're stable or complete. We often patched software after clients had already gone live. 2. Leadership (MD) prioritises sales over technical quality. Reporting bugs or raising red flags about product performance is often perceived as a threat, rather than helpful feedback. 3. No real quality assurance structure. Testing is rushed or skipped entirely. 4. High turnover. Many good developers leave within a year once they realise their input doesn’t matter. 5. Lack of documentation and internal process. You spend more time cleaning up than building. 6. Poor HR practices. You can be let go without a fair process or warning.
