Stability and good pay overshadowed by terrible leadership
Pros
Stability, on par pay for the Bay Area, good individual contributors to trauma bond with, great variety of benefits including fertility support, and mental health benefits.
Cons
I don’t know if I have enough room to list them all - cons may vary by division. I specifically would avoid Diabetes Care at any cost. Awful leadership from executives down to people managers, zero accountability, managers severely play favorites including for raises, promotions, learning gigs, and team transitions. Annual merit increases are far below inflation rates. Mandatory 5 days in office, no flexibility. Limited room for career growth. Bonuses are dependent on company performance but don’t drop at an equivalent rate of goal completion. Culture has disappeared in the last 3 years, it’s everyone for themselves. I could go on and on but long story short is: don’t work here.
