Micro management from all levels of management including the implementation of greater accountability. One of the best things Advantage had to offer was flexible working which was great, until they started to up people's targets. Now flexible working is a thing of the past as you have to stay late to meet the targets. The worse part about it is the pot commission structure where you have to secure 2 deals to even be in the running for commission. The commission is based on what the whole office puts in, not individual contributions. Your biggest deal might turn out to be your smallest paycheck! Having lost huge accounts the workflow of new jobs into the office has dried up which has left the morale of the teams on the floor, middle management are jumping ship. With no training for newer staff, I would not recommend Advantage for your first stab at recruitment. Recruitment agencies are usually full of excitement, laughter and chatter... the same cannot be said here, as soon as you put down the phone and open your mouth you'll get shut down immediately.

- Little to no training - Insanely high turnover of staff - Casual racism allowed and tolerated - Back and middle office staff overworked, burnt out and exhausted. No work-life balance and the atmosphere in the office was miserable. - Management and HR do not listen to or value staff. They know that there is a high turnover of staff and that many work unpaid overtime, but do not care. - Incredibly disorganised company. They act first and ask questions later, so staff were always putting out fires. No written processes and because of the high turnover and lack of training no one knew what they were doing. - Lack of equipment - was never given a company phone or laptop despite working from home for over a year.  We had to log into the remote server from our personal laptops, which caused constant IT issues. - Shocking COVID-19 response. No communication and people were still being told to come into the office, even though we had all set up the remote server on our personal laptops weeks before. - No social events - Staff having to organise and pay for their own Christmas party (pre- COVID). - The business telling staff they were going to send us all Christmas hampers (during COVID) but then telling us we had to travel to the closed office ourselves to pick up the hampers in the middle of a pandemic.
