I have been working at Alien Technology Transfer full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Unlike other Indian companies, variable payout of the the salary is fully transparent and paid out according to employees effort. Good place to grow and learn. They reward the efforts and results. Equal treatment for everyone High proportion of variable pay gives an opportunity to earn more than average. Good culture and team.

    Cons

Management fires employees if they get a reason. They may not give time for employees to improve on the feedback. And as in any new companies, it is in the growing stage and absence of structured policies often result in chaos.

I worked at Alien Technology Transfer full-time for less than a year

    Pros

It's hard to write even a minimum glassdoor criteria of 5 words here. I wish rating had lesser than 1.

    Cons

    1. No learning for sure:- The team Manager who is supposed to be very experienced and guiding the project consultant is exceptionally dumb. They are writing grant projects for technology firms with zero knowledge, for example, my team manager didn't understand the difference between B2B and B2C sales while they are supposed to make business plans. The funniest part is how these managers debate with clients who are experts for more than 30+ years in their field about technical expects when they can't even spell the technical terms. For God's sake don't think you are smarter than your client for whose product you are writing proposals. 2. Discrimination:- The European firm does not fail to treat Indian employees as "Aliens". For instance, you can get sacked after working your very hard while your dumb European counterparts could get away with any felony. The remarks can be often disturbing and extremely racist. I don't understand why have they come to India to expand when they are so unsatisfied with Indian talent. 3. The bonus that they promise is the biggest scam. They will demotivate you, degrade you, and even make you question your skillset which is funny for people who don't possess any. 4. It is very weird how they have homework after working hours and stringent deadlines for every workstream but have no deadline for salary payment. Salaries are usually delayed by up until a week. 5. Stupidity was born here. 6. They usually give tape-recorded reasons to fire you. They can fire you even if you are eligible and expecting a bonus or pay raise. Basically this company doesn't expect loyalty out of its employees - it is more or less temporary employment where they hire you to finish their projects and fire right after. There has been no Indian who has been able to survive in this firm for more than a year. 7. No complaint will be accepted as all the top management is racist to their core and they only have lower managerial jobs for Indians. They have only ears and only pardon for the fellow white colleagues.

I worked at Alien Technology Transfer full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There are no reasons to work here except the fellow employees.

    Cons

Very unethical. They will fire you just like that and they will not even be able give you a proper reason for firing you. They will lie to you on your face regarding your job role and bonus payments. No concerns for the employees or their growth or concerns.Very shady people and arrogant management. The HR team is the worst. It is a pack of sycophants led by a cocky conceited bigot having no knowledge or experience or skill in HR or the so called "people functions".

I worked at Alien Technology Transfer full-time for less than a year

    Pros

You learn a lot as a business professional and industry-wise Some are really good upper-management people Awesome co-workers Opportunity to grow and learn

    Cons

You need to be really straightforward and strong if you want to survive The bonus structure is weird which is a huge part of the salary No administration No respect for employees or clients even though they are so expensive False promises about 'PF' and other things, clearly struggling in India Promoting micro-management and toxic people because they can't find any good coaches or retain good employees Can't seem to understand why they have problems in treating employees as humans Working long hours, on weekends without any appreciation With every deadline and responsibility, the workload increases in a way that no weekend or free time is yours.

I worked at Alien Technology Transfer full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Friendly coworkers . Decent working space and reserved seating place given that they operate out of a co-working place.

    Cons

Policies and pay are different for different employees as well as the service agreement is also different for everyone. Even the belt system is fake like their contract. They claimed that they don't have a policy of giving relocation and joining bonus. Only later I realized that me along with many others didn't get it. All the old employees had got it.When I asked the management, they scolded me instead and commented that if I want to work for money only, then I can leave right away. They will always scare you regarding job and career. They also fire people randomly before they become eligible for bonuses. They pretend that they are some huge big firm but they are clearly failing miserably and struggling. Rest everything has been written so no point wasting time again.

I have been working at Alien Technology Transfer full-time for more than a year

    Pros

True to its name "Alien" :- unfamiliar and disturbing and distasteful.

    Cons

They are a bunch with the tongue of honey and heart of gall.Never to be trusted on anything especially compensation and job roles. It changes before you even realize. Worst policies and even pathetic management. They will show fake concerns whenever they want to change anything like timings etc and thrust what they have already decided. Beware what you say in any of those one on one meetings be it regarding any policy or with respect to your progress, career aspirations or training requirements. It will come to "haunt" you sooner than you imagine. They are so stingy or broke or both that they asked the employees to bring in decoration, candles, lights and even agarbatti and rangoli powder to celebrate Diwali.Should have asked us to bring our own sweets as well. Also you would get to witness a variety of obscure international events celebrated here wherein you would be forced to donate money in exchange for a piece of donut.
