I took a pay cut just to work here and I don't regret it!
Pros
100% remote. Fun & interesting work. Very cool and flexible lifestyle. Smaller company so your ideas get heard and used if they are good.
Cons
Ummm... it's remote so there is no break room with snacks and a ping-pong table. I can fix the snack thing but it's really hard to find a good ping-pong player in the middle of the day when your kids are at school and your wife is busy. But for reals, it is a smaller company so the upwards movement is not super fast. You are hired to do what you do and as your skills grow you will get more responsibilities but it's basically you are hired to that position and that's where you will be. If you're not looking for a long term job in the position you are hired for this is probably not the place to work.
