Pros

Has potential if run by someone else.

Cons

You would think with all the branding and fancy photography, fancy website, that this would be some sort of automotive utopia to work at,the reality is a massively underfunded, under resourced and poorly ran outfit in a collection of rented units, relying on the good will of staff to provide their own tools, equipment,PPE and even teabags in order to attempt to get the day's work done. Some practices are questionable, and health and safety is non existent.a surprisingly Dickensian them and us attitude between management and staff (the ones that actually do the work) Extremely toxic environment. No sick pay, legal minimum holiday pay,no benefits.A recent mass lay off a warning signal of the intent that the whole outfit will be based in the USA very soon.

Pros

Good experience in working with Defenders

Cons

Directors are children who lie compulsively. No respect or care given to employees. Lies lies and more lies.

Pros

Working on Defenders is always enjoyable. You'll work with great people with a huge amount of knowledge and skills.

Cons

The management is incompetent. Huge amounts of money are wasted on vanity projects while basic part suppliers are left unpaid. Concerns are laughed off or ignored when the senior management do occasionally turn up in expensive cars that sound like they belong in a Tesco car park on a Friday evening. Pay is poor for the work that you do.
