Pros

No pros. It is quite a boring job. Very repetitive.

Cons

Little communication from manager or training given. It is very difficult to arrange a time to complete a group job. Often the meeting time is only decided the night before a job is to be completed because the other group members are uncooperative. So it is very difficult to plan your time around work as you never know when you will start. Also, the estimated time to complete a task is ALWAYS underestimated. Often a 2hr task will take 5+ hours to complete.

Pros

Good work life balance. Small family business, so you know everyone in the office. Good opportunity to build network with people in big brands like Unilever, Coles, etc. Opportunity to learn a wide range of stuff at early stage of career. Very chilled vibe, fun social events, but they might not include all staff for offsite fancy ones.

Cons

5-days in office, no hybrid options unless close to the boss. Business is impacted by economy a lot due to budget cut from FMCG giants Niche industry, small name, not as good as big companies in resume. Family business, be careful to pick your team. Not much career development. Finance team is the first choice for redundancy. Small finance team, micromanagement. Lower than market pay, and they prefer new and cheap staff over current experienced staff. Bonus is subject to how you serve your boss, no criteria or matrix. Unprofessional HR. All HR team is about recruiting casual staff, not much capabilities for people and culture.

Rude manager, less hours

Pros

The job is easy and the hours are flexible

Cons

The managers are really rude - they like to shout at staff and look for small excuses to take away work hours. Also, they expect people to work perfectly with 0 to no training.
