      Pros

      At CITISPIRE, there are constant thinking and discussions that are about the future of this industry and beyond. I had an experience that focused on some truly innovative ways of designing our future living environment, living with nature, sustainable but also is tied back to architecture, geometry with a form that's driven by mathematics. For each project, Dan is interested in working with his team to develop a parametric approach, not only to finish the realistic work but also to think about the methodology and philosophy behind it. Many of the ideas are often time ahead of the industry, which is very inspiring. Lots of interesting conversations would happen in this office.

      Cons

      Office is at uptown, not super convenient if you live in Brooklyn or New Jersey.

      Pros

      - The entire team is very supportive and knowledgeable about their specific functions. They are always willing to help you out. - The company has a great mission and ambition to develop places that enhance the well-being and opportunities available to the community. The company founders always welcomes ideas and suggestions on how to improve current projects and develop places for the better. - The projects are very interesting and have the potential to make a positive impact on future communities. - The company's heads will support you with your interests and the avenues in which you would like to grow, if you express and communicate these with them. - In my role, I had many opportunities to learn/enhance different technical skills, which was very good for my professional growth.

      Cons

      - The job can be demanding and will sometimes require you to work on weekends, especially right before major deadlines. - The company could use more structure and better manage expectations with regards to meeting deadlines. - If you are not the type to communicate your needs in order to complete tasks well, you may get frustrated because there are high expectations. This presents a good training opportunity to enhance your professional communication skills.
