Pros
• good team — CMs were great; fellow MS were friendly and engaging • decent-good environment • effort/performance recognition • sweet and friendly members; both long-term and new
Cons
• rigid membership pricing — no senior/veteran discount (can put under corporate, but can never too sure if that's permissible) • club/machine repair takes months • lack of neurodivergence support (absolute downer) • very limited hours (i'm part-time but other staff gets so little hours) • a lot of work, especially if it's only 1 CM & 1 MS per day • unreceptive to staff/member complaints/feedback • machines are very old, and they break quite often but repair comes once every few months, causing significant cancellations • rigid management — apparently i have to work around THEM. because they need to know what i can offer them. but what can THEY offer ME? or others? • no benefits aside from free membership. no potential raise. not even a bonus. • working hours — debatable. finishing at 7PM gives very little time to really decompress. • terrible direct debit system — every direct debit day, without fail there'll be at least 10 calls about failed payment. • late fees — atrocious. missed payment on DD day? instant late fee $11. there needs to be a window/grace period before charging late fees.
