        Pros

Working in Las Vegas is so much fun, always something major happening and some of the best people in the world have moved to the area. I had co-workers from all over the country and world that I got to work with which was so rewarding to be around different view points/perspective on the job.

Long days and extra work on weekends as well, work/life balance could improve

I have been working at Caesars Entertainment full-time for less than a year

        Pros

        - good benefits across company - employee gym - employee cafeteria - interesting clientele, diverse staff - always learning new things - commission on upsells + very good tips from some guests - some cool management - lots of opportunity for growth - discounts - free uniform, dry cleaning - paid break

        Cons

        - hard on feet - big learning curve - difficult guests - mandatory OT - high turnover rate - schedule changed without notice and yet expected to be adhered to - rigid attendance and lateness policy (to the point of endangering the health + safety of others) - favoritism among some managers - senior agents either really really friendly or wholly unhelpful and focused on getting their money (often...

(it's hard enough being forced to watch yourself perform and get rated on a strict scale based on whether or not you adhered to an impersonable script - let alone get penalized even if you pleasantly and correctly fulfilled your described...

I have been working at Caesars Entertainment full-time for more than 3 years

        Pros

        - Work Environment: Of course it depends on what department you are in and who you report to, but generally most departments are fairly laid back and do not micromanage employees. - Good place to learn new skills and gain experience: Caesars is generally willing to teach you, or give you room to learn new skills, especially if you are fresh out of college. - Las Vegas: The city in general has lot of fun things to do...

        Cons

        - High Turnover and Uncertainty: The company is constantly being reorganized since it had gone through a bankruptcy and now a buyout, which creates a lot of uncertainty among employees, making turnover is fairly high in most departments. Often college grads get hired, stay for two years or so, learning new skills and gaining experience then leave for new higher paying opportunities. - Location: Although Caesars is a...
