Cercare Medical has been in business for over a decade, but lacks clinical evidence and real-world practice studies, making it difficult to sell its product. The company's top management consists of friends with doubts about each other's skill set, and funding issues are a recurring problem. The work culture has become increasingly toxic with the hiring of people who bring a negative spirit, especially at the head of the commercial team. Meetings are set up to let employees share their concerns, but management doesn't listen, and employees are managed by fear. The CCO, who was brought in to head the Sales and Marketing team, had no prior experience in the medical imaging and radiology field, and people who voiced their concerns directly to the CEO were fired. The founders have little commercial understanding or interest, with the company partially operated as a side hustle. There is no HR, employee career planning, or adequate benefits. The CCO has a bullying tendency and doesn't try to earn employees' respect or learn from them. Mental health is a concern, with seven people leaving or being asked to leave in just nine months. The CEO and co-founder didn't take their responsibilities seriously, and there is no HR to address these issues. In short, if you value your well-being, stay away from Cercare Medical.
