Pros
Fast-paced work days make the day go by quickly, nice coworkers, weekends off.
Cons
Long hours during the workweek.
Pros
Nice place to work sometimes
Cons
Long hours sometimes, hard work long hours
Pros
I have worked at ChalkTalkSPORTS for a little over two years now. I have experience working at both small and large corporate companies, with that experience my time at ChalkTalkSPORTS has been the best so far. This is a place where I am given the opportunity to grow professionally everyday. A lot of times especially in larger companies you will get lost in the shuffle and aren’t able to grow in your career. But here I am given opportunity to grow and improve on areas I wouldn’t have even thought I could do. There is always something new for me to learn to help me improve myself as well as the company.
Cons
Holiday hours can be long but this also gives you an opportunity to see different parts of the company.
Pros
On average two employees a week quit so no one has to work here long
Cons
Don’t expect to be acknowledged if you work extra hours. Owners film everyone all day so don’t talk or leave your spot. If you find a penny on the ground in the parking lot leave it there or be prepared to be accused of theft. Nice people and hard workers are overlooked in favor of family members. The customers don’t matter, the employees don’t matter only the families bottom line. For real, the owners film every inch of the building all day everyday, be ready to be questioned if you are away from your station for more than 60 seconds. A toxic workplace with poor management and non-existent ethics.
Pros
Coworkers are very nice, hour break for lunch
Cons
Really negative work environment, the owners operate by fear and there is a high turnover rate due to employees either quitting or being fired over minor infractions. Employees are expected to have barely any interactions with each other outside of lunch, not even small quick conversations. The main owner is vindictive and takes his own frustrations out on his employees. Management also frequently asked current employees to post positive reviews on Glassdoor to offset the negative ones, and employees did not feel they had the option to say no.
Pros
None come to mind besides some good co-workers
Cons
Miserable environment, long hours, constant fear, no bonuses/regular raises
