Pros

I worked with 2 lovely marketers who worked from home. They didn't have to deal with the Managing Director on a day to day basis and at least 1 of them was Part time so I can attribute 2 of the positive reviews on here to them. Given the fact that most of the people who worked at Clear Path were made redundant or left out of frustration, I'm not sure who these other employees are. Personally, if I had had such a wonderful experience at a company I would want to add my name or at least my title to the review. Anyone interested in a job at Clear Path can find most previous employees on Linkedin. Something to bear in mind if you are considering a role at this company. I know for a fact that most of these employees would be happy to give you an account of their experience. They were certainly very helpful to me when I was putting together my case against Noel.

Cons

I will keep this short. I wrote a review highlighting the details of my experience at Clear Path. I discovered earlier today that that review is no longer live... I'm not sure why because everything I wrote about my experience can be easily corroborated. I took the Managing Director to court for unpaid fees and WON. The MD made his entire team redundant in one day before he hired me. Since then I have been told there have been 2 similar rounds of firings. The MD fired me over the phone on a day I took off work sick. When I asked for a reason as to why I was being fired he put the phone down on me. He fired me despite the fact that I hit every single one of my targets as the Head of Content and as a publisher. He then REHIRED me the NEXT DAY as a freelance publisher and then proceeded to not pay me for the work I had done. When I made it clear that I would take him to court for nonpayment of fees, he bizarrely recruited a law firm to threaten me with breach of contract or something equally ridiculous and non-sensical. Those of us working in the conference production world are familiar with most of the recruiters who operate in this space. Before you consider a role with this company, do yourself a favor and check in with past employees and ask the recruiters for their impression of the company.

Pros

Colleagues were nice but this is a terrible company to work for

Cons

After finding out that all it's current employees were made redundant last week, as I was 3 years ago, I feel it is my duty to warn others to avoid working at this company no matter how attractive working here looks. The company is the worst run I have ever seen and has very poor financial planning. Having to make whole of company redundancies twice in 3 years should tell you everything you need to know about how the company is run. For the sake of your career and job security please avoid.
