Pros

The people - specifically the consultants - We have some of the best and most seasoned consultants in the market which makes working on projects with them fun and rewarding. Good health insurance (if you are a single person w/out a family) - 100% of premiums are covered - 3 different health coverage options - HSA plan (if you want) Company events - there are a lot of these and each one is a great way to feel closer to others in the company even though you may not work with them directly on projects Great Practice Leaders - you'll have a great time working with some of the best Practice Leaders around (keep up the good work) - they will work with you to try and find interesting project work, but it all depends on what is available at the time

Cons

Absent Leadership - C level executives seem to be very absent from what is going on with the consultants out on projects - Seems like leaders aren't very transparent about how the company is actually doing from a project and sales point of view. - overall company growth seems flat (people leave as new ones come on board) No career growth - this is a flat organization, so be aware of that. May be great if you are on the verge of retirement, but not great for new/young talent - if you're looking for a place to level up or grow your skills, this probably isn't the best fit Bench time - You will be cut from the company if you aren't placed on a project soon enough. - month 1, half pay and benefits continue - month 2, no pay and benefits continue - month 3, up to leadership what happens to you (they likely won't keep you around) - They will sell you on the "security" of working here, but will cut you if you can't get placed on a project Lack of client diversity - Seems very heavily based in T-Mobile as a client - makes finding interesting work for consultants difficult if you don't want to work at TMO

Pros

Nice staff and office location, entice you with higher pay, easy and informal interview process

Cons

"Account Managers" have no idea what they are doing or how to obtain/retain accounts. They stay in the main office for the most part instead of being more consistently onsite at the accounts, to maintain relationships with the clients. Surface level support for their own employees when projects are struggling and lots of SOW confusion.. massive lack of work ethic. Lots of internal coffee breaks and lunch breaks while employees are trying to keep their heads above water at the client. They let you die out on the bench because they don't have consistent accounts/relationships with clients, and have put all their eggs in one basket (one company) and are flailing to find more business. Sadly, enough they don't try hard enough to keep their employees, they are very casual about the lack of projects and letting people go while maxing out the bench. Bench policy Month 1 : Half pay and benefits Month 2: NO pay and benefits Month 3: You're let go and done as an employee... (yet, they continue to hire more people) HIGH TURNOVER They are poaching from other companies with the higher pay and false promises Account team will submit a consultants resume to a potential client, asking if the client has any work the consultant can help with VS the normal process of a consulting company. Some instances not even tell you they have submitted you... so good luck if you know that client and it wasn't a good experience . Not only does Coppei look bad but so does the Consultant. If it was a good relationship, everyone looks foolish still... Some AM's tend to also push and bully consultants into connecting them with their connections to obtain business. If you don't feel comfortable they will keep pressuring you to set up a meeting etc ... sign of desperation. They will also scour your LinkedIn profile to see who you know.

Pros

- The people are all really nice - Local only approach to projects - Good benefits if you are a single person - Pay really well for seasoned consultants - Take a personal interest in your life / family

Cons

- No room to grow personally / professionally - Focused on Seattle market only which limits clients / project opportunities - Operates slightly like a staffing company, hires for random roles and then can't place consultants after that - Not a competitive consulting firm in the Seattle market.. no one has heard of them
