Pros

can't think of any at all

Cons

Giving the title as G.A for 2 years course, FYI, GA is applicable to ITE/Diploma/Degree holders whereas most big company's GA is only for degree holders.. Further more, u can't learn any management knowledge or rotate to any other department in the 2 years, only job scope for u is to push u do sales in the shop floor just like any retail outlet staff serving customers..They might give u a wonderful blueprint before u sign the actual contract with them saying GA has a great chance to get into management lvl after 2 years which based on my experience is almost too good to be true. pls be aware that during my course of stay there are massive turnover rate for GA especially Degree holder GAs.. so that tells alot..basically for GAs u get an average market rate salary, within the 2 years course u have very slim if not 0 chance to jump over to backend/change department, all u need to do is to stand 10+hrs per day hard pushing sales of rice cooker/bed/handphone to walk in customer and basic cashiering duty. hectic and u don't really gain any knowledge/skills as what common understanding by people of the role of GA should. If u still doubt about what i shared by all means go ahead and give it a try(they are mass hiring now) otherwise pls be cautious to join so as to avoid disappointment

Pros

Wasting time to working here, no future, working is for money, not for charity

Cons

Japanese culture, forcing staff to reading book , doing test, retest and retest, brain wash to follow book to do sales, never appreciated staff who hardworking, always just praise the staff who are at the big store, at the big store no need to learn everything, just need to waiting promoter to pass the sales, sales number high, then you are good staff, giving commission alot T&C and must sell attachment only can get spiff, if can't achieve then will get nothing, every month like work for charity, already no commission, some more every month can't paid salary correctly, need to chase back every month, like a beggar, always tell employees 1st in front of us, but just say beside the month, never care about staff need and listen to staff, giving 1500+ basic salary, need to work as sales staff, cashier, cleaner, portter, storeman and etc. Everyday also have staff resign, still never change their policy. The end of summary, if you like work for charity, please join nojima courts.
