      Pros

      After 30 years in an industry that required me to go to an office 6 days a week this has been a refreshing opportunity. Our products and services really do help people and companies in 2 areas in particular. First, we change the way managers behave and perform in a positive way and truly turn them into leaders. Additionally, we provide a significant and quantifiable Return On Investment for our clients. It is really quite rewarding to see the results you are able to achieve.

      Cons

      Tenacity and persistence are required. If practiced however, the upside is unlimited.

      Pros

      The ability to make a real difference in the lives of others. Seeing young managers "get it" - the lightbulbs come on, and seeing the excitement and positive energy month after month as they realize they can make an impact on their teams and their companies.

      Cons

      Not always easy persuading company executives of the real value of training. Companies that are too busy working "in" their business to work "on" their business.

      It's hard to be successful but rewarding if you persist

      Pros

      It's like being an employee of a global company earning 64.5% commission (less costs) rather than salary + bonus. 15 full time people in Denver HQ mean I get support that is the equivalent of 2+ full time people in Brisbane (Marketing/newsletter, accounts, half yearly licensee training, mentoring). There are 200 licensees around the world who are happy to connect, share and learn from each other. It's like one big (usually happy) family

      Cons

      35.5% royalty is large compared to other training franchises. It makes it tough to build a business beyond a one man band.
