Pros

There are no Pros to this company; you can learn the kind of work they do at any consulting job. There is nothing I can think of that is good here.

Cons

1. Rude upper management and a severe lack of guidance from them, specifically they expect you to just magically imagine client deliverables without including you in meetings and get annoyed when you state the same to them; 2. Underpaid employees to a point where it doesn't even meet the market standard anymore in 2024; 3. Forced to work overtime almost all the time except for downtimes during the holidays when the clients are away (which is 2 out of 52 weeks of the year); 4. Severe lack of benefits, you get 10 days of PTO a year which is also accrued, 3 days of sick leave and that's that; 5. Their whole business model is building a sweatshop. They churn out talent every 2 years, and keep all profits to themselves while paying you a minimal salary (with a pocket change bonus) for you to be able to barely survive; 6. You want to get out? You can't (unless you leave or they fire you) because all your time is invested at work so you have no time to look for anything outside. DO NOT JOIN THIS COMPANY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOURSELF. They do not care about you or your well-being, the work must be done, even if it means you have to stay up consecutive days with minimal to no sleep to deliver to not one but multiple clients within a one (or two) day deadline from the time the task is received. There is nothing good here, and I will advise you to stay away. They specifically prey on International Students who are desperate for a job to be able to be in the US. If you are here, do not worry, not all companies are like them. There are some good ones out there, that will compensate you fairly for your time.

Pros

You learn some of the most useful BI and data analysis tools in the market in a quick time and get plenty of opportunities to implement them. Often, you get a chance to lead a project, conduct analysis independently and deliver results to the client directly.

Cons

As mentioned by many - this is a sweatshop. The management takes advantage of the desperation of fresh non-citizen graduates. People who keep working in this firm for years are the folks who do not have much happening outside their jobs. So, the firm tends to attract a certain kind of personality. As a result, your colleagues aren't much and it gets worse because the hours are extremely long. It's a common sight for managers to yell at their employees, to be rude and to show rage at the poor intimidated employees. The benefits do not quite match the industry standard. Time offs are too little given the amount of time every employee puts in every day. There are no fun activities at work for a change. It's just straight 12 hours work everyday.

Pros

Good clients means they are big companies, so it would be helpful experience for your next job

Cons

Culture Sweat, sweat and sweat, 9 to 11 schedule, and even weekends, working extreme closely with the managers, so no privacy, no break time, lunch takes 10 minutes. Managers/partners yell all the time, no respect whatsoever. In one of my colleague's words, every girl in the company has the experience of getting yelled to tears by one of the partner. In the spirit of the management, the few people who's been there for 2 or 3 years also take every chance to work the newbies. Benefits Small company, so everything is decided by the 3 partners, and they definitely save the money at every details. You pay for your visa sponsorship, and can't get it back even if it's not filed, that is called a deposit in case you take advantage of the company! Time Off Policies 15 days of vacation a year, including the holidays, so that means 7 days excluding the holidays. And if you had a doctor visit one day and didn't work 8 hours, you won't get paid full for the day, no matter how much overtime in other days. Hiring all the time The company keeps hiring all over the year, since 9 out of 10 people would leave after they take the offer. So don't worry about it stop hiring. I referred two friends when I first started, since I didn't know about the company back then. One of my friend quit in a month because she got yelled at almost every day, the other one cried at the interview from the humiliation. I didn't dare to refer anyone after that and have been trying to advice people to be cautious about DIA.
