Pros
The best thing about my employment at DCS was how the CEO ran the company. He maintained a good amount of company, but gave me, the Lead Engineer, complete autonomy and resources over how I want to get results. The only thing that mattered was getting results, and my my team were given enough context and understanding by the CEO that they enabled me very professionally in achieving those results. Looking back, it was actually a great experience to cut through all the fluff and focus on the bottom line and get things done.
Cons
The pressure is real. CEO has a strong personality, and doesn't try to be likeable. Projects are big and complex and timelines are important
