Pros

Work from home for some. Pay 80% of your healthcare premium.

Cons

These guys like to use their media converge to paint a happy picture. However, if your job is something new to them, they have little to no idea how to handle that job. It appears that they watch YouTube videos on how to manage jobs they don't have experience in. That said, if you can't do your job then they blame you. There's an awful lot of the blame game here because they don't have project tracking and no communication. They read books on how to manage instead of directly interacting with their employees. You very well could have a good time here. I however did not. They still have that "family environment" where the people with family relations to management, or have been there for 10 years, are entitled to services necessary to your job, but you the employee are not. Some of the "ways" of doing things here are just strange and they're very set in their ways. They have to have their eyebrows burn off from mistakes to be open to change. Even after that, they still aren't receptive unless it's "their" idea. The culture is definitely cultish to where you must agree that it's a great place or you're not treated like an employee. If a leaving employee warns you that certain management are "mean" and going to be a "challenge", that's a big red flag.

Pros

I worked at Drips for 2+ years and was hired part-time well before the company went fully remote. The work was endless, so I was eventually bumped up to full-time to keep up with client demand. The office culture was generally fun, and the original team I worked with was supportive, empathetic, smart and great to be around. That era did not last long, however.

Cons

Severely underpaid for the amount of work that needs to be done on a daily basis. I was consistently drowning in work no matter how quickly I tried to get things done or how many extra hours I put in. My manager was incompetent and would regularly tell people what they wanted to hear without actually making improvements or basing what he was saying in any sense of truth. I was told by upper management that working late on a regular basis was just part of the job, Work-life balance was not a thing. I was regularly promised a promotion and was referred to as "senior" in my department, but my compensation was never increased to match the title. Ever heard of the WeWork saga? That's exactly what the Drips culture felt like.

Pros

It was a remote job, and for once the work computer I get sent did what I needed it to do without having to wait for far too long.

Cons

They're using a very, very old tech stack and are fighting tooth and nail to keep it. Weirdest thing I've ever seen. After 2.5 months I got called on a Friday morning and told that they were restructuring and would not be doing the work that I was hired for. Ok, fine, such is life, move on. Then I go file for unemployment and get flagged for review because Drips told them that I was fired. Excuse me? I worked my hardest, did no harm, did what was asked of me, and I get rewarded like this? Do unto others.
