Pros
You name it AECOM does it, and all over the globe. Diverse people, diverse project and opportunities IF you can get them on your own.
Cons
Constant re-organization, new tools, and new system. Mediocre to below industry standard benefits and salary increases. With high P/L goals that are not realistic, will not invigorate your life blood - which is your people to achieve goals. Motivate by opportunities and appreciation - not fancy videos, and 'coin' rewards. Ultimate reward is the respect of your colleagues/clients and their appreciation. The simple things. URS folks have had new tools, new systems thrown at them, and then more new tools once they are finally getting the hang of things. Us AECOM folks are overwhelmed as well. Most people are good to work with it but as usual there are folks who only look out for themselves. Weed selfish/self serving people out, as good people build teams, good teams build growth, and growth fosters more opportunities.
