Business outlook
Pros
The benefits are good, the resources are excellent (in terms of having expertise in a variety of disciplines), and the Downtown LA location is great.
Cons
The bureaucracy of a huge company trickles down to everyone, and creativity is hampered. Practitioners shouldn't be burdened by forms, rigid processes, and an overengineered project management system that makes budgeting a nightmare. Career development doesn't seem to be of high concern, nor does having balanced studios (between entry level, intermediate, senior staff), and the projects themselves suffer. There is also competition between offices, which is ridiculous.
