Pros

Global reach allows for career options. Potential is limitless and collegues are remarkable. Critical mass of resources allow for startup momentum. International offices are top tier locatons, close enough to reach global client base, even in "remote" areas. In general benefits are on parr with competing consultant firms in this market. Growth should also be above competitors prospects, especially among the larger companies. Being a multi-national company, there are country to country choices, benefits, cultural and living conditions that, if one is willing and in a position to relocate, can yield maximun fit to one's carrer track. AECOM weather current down economy far better than most firms.

Cons

Assimilation of former OpCos not very smooth or effective. Often no clear communication or understanding of where talents can be both valued and kept busy. Middle-Upper management having trouble braking "old" habbits and mind-sets. Centalized IT, budget and accounts systems are not yet harmonized, or certainly the training required to work it is not yet there. Public and potential client base still does not reconize AECOM as a household name or first though when searching for solutions in the market. Existing clients from former OpCo having trouble with the "New DMJM" or the "New CTE". Securing new work is terribly dependent on reputation and recognition, but AECOM is not there yet.

Pros

Decent company, good stock plan, good people who want to see you grow

Cons

Very remote management makes things hard, very little team work is locally siloed so its hard for managers to understand the boots on the ground view. Managers are great people but spread very thin, sometimes they accept work before having staff for it(classic consulting move)
