I have been working at Amadeus in Pune for the past few months, and overall, it has been a positive experience. Here are some key points about my time here: Work Culture and Environment: Amadeus fosters a collaborative and inclusive work culture. The teams are supportive, and there is a strong emphasis on teamwork. The office is in a great location and a lot of investment keeps happening to make it a great workplace. Learning and Growth: Amadeus provides ample opportunities for skill development and learning. Regular training sessions, workshops, and certifications are encouraged. The company encourages employees to take ownership of their projects, which enhances professional growth. Considering the teams are global in nature, there is a great opportunity to learn from various experienced people around the globe. I have had the chance to work on challenging and interesting projects. The technical complexity keeps me engaged and motivated. The company values innovation and encourages employees to think outside the box. As development work is on products that are used by large customers, there is a good mix of new features and improvement projects. Work-Life Balance: Amadeus respects work-life balance. Flexible working hours and remote work options are available - 3 days are expected but that becoming more of a norm anyway. There is also an option for 2 long workcations a year. Compensation and Benefits: The compensation package is competitive (i got a fair increment even though I was here only for a few months in the previous appraisal year) Management and Leadership: The leadership team is always approachable and open to feedback. Regular town halls and communication channels keep employees informed.
Cons
The cafeteria food quality could be better. More team-building activities would improve employee engagement (we recently had a internal cricket competition which was fun!)
