Pros

Theres no pros to a company that doesnt practice what they preach on ethics. No career advancement, no equal opportunity, and they don’t stand by their employees. Went up the chain of command with how a particular manager and director treated me, and not one single person on the chain of command listened or took me seriously. I went to the EEOC with my evidence and BAE Systems didnt answer the charge or the mediation… Guilty. That manager still has his job… They dont promote from within, and if you do, you don’t receive the pay along with it for years unless you push back. I didnt realize how true that bad managers ad companies can really push out great employees. Sad because I really liked some of the people I worked with.

Cons

Everything. No equal opportunity especially for women. No career advancement, and its a Boys Club. If you’re a female, they will isolate you and push you out. No culture either. These managers will take your career and crumble it as if its nothing. All the hard work down the drain.

Pros

The hybrid schedule is a major benefit and provides a good balance between in-office collaboration and flexibility.

Cons

Career growth can feel limited if you are not originally from Utah or already connected within the local organization. Time off can feel limited compared to the government customer you support. The customer often receives more holidays and administrative leave, but contractor employees may still be constrained by sector policies even when the contract generally follows the customer’s schedule.
