Pros

Comprehensive private health insurance Wish I could find more but the work environment has been deteriorating: no learning, no work/life balance, poor product

Cons

As the company is transitioning from onprem to a saas model, it seems to me that leadership and middle management really seems to struggle with getting the right execution/setup resulting in many staff who are overworked. I guess this is what happens when concerns raised don't go to top management or they simply just don't listen, all while the leadership team keeps on saying how people are its most important asset, yet they do something that is the complete opposite. Eg. -Laying off much needed staff without any regard on how it may impact operations for existing staff who keeps on taking a crazy amount of additional workload -No learning can take place due to workload / or no coverage -Poor career development (coaching is non-existent, minimal, and no formal procedures) -Management's answer to everything is always 'no budget' -As a career development initiative, leadership team came up with the idea of taking staff off queues to maintain documentation (How is that helpful to a tech person's career you may ask showing that management is completely out of touch) -Leadership's use of buzz words and hiding behind pretty powerpoint slides and charts during all hands meetings (may be because they are unaware of the daily struggles of the team on the ground) -Poor communication across teams; teams unresponsive and focused on meeting their own targets -No proper enablement / tools to do our job well: access, or some other setup is often broken, which we need to sort out ourselves on top of having to do our own job -Lack of procedures: Always a goose chase when trying to find the right information -Scattered information which is always hard to find

Pros

Life balance and culture is good. Management is okay.

Cons

Constant layoffs for the past 3 years, and letting key talents go.
