Pros
BMC has great products. The IT Service Support Management business is innovative and exciting. Robin Purohit and the leadership team he has put in place are driving growth that is restoring BMC to a leadership position in the market. Bill Berutti is also driving innovation, but has a steep hill to climb. Mainframe and Workload Automation businesses continue to deliver solid results.
Cons
BMC is no longer a great company because it has lost sight of its people. Cost cutting continues in many areas, making the "do more with less" mantra more true than ever. People are burned out. Lack of confidence in many leaders is also contributing to attrition, which is no longer a cause for alarm for upper management, since it helps the bottom line.
