Pros
Having free Disney tickets is literally the only good thing about this job.
Cons
Pay is not good, managers are horrible, warehouse is a toxic and dangerous workplace. Management won't fix simple things like the water fountain so you will have no water to drink all day in a hot warehouse with no heat or AC. Management visits the warehouse with Teslas, designer bags, designer sneakers, meanwhile there has been no pay increases for anyone since pre Covid. Most people there work 2-3 jobs and are on food stamps while the managers live the good life. Managers do not connect with you, bother to remember your name, treat everyone as disposable. The company president was never seen in the 2 years I worked here, all the decisions came from him yet he never even so much as introduced himself to anyone. The company is family owned and they are religious, so if you aren't blood related or a part of their church they will treat you like you are insignificant and invisible. The mismanagement is so bad it's almost entertaining to witness if it wasn't so depressing, because ultimately things take 10x longer than they need to, and you will do unnecessary work to compensate for managers who decide to ignore Slack messages for days while they go golfing. There was bullying happening in the warehouse and in the stores, and the person perpetrating this was promoted. This company isn't worth it, RUN, find literally anywhere else to work. This family has been spoiled living off the money that having multiple stores on Disney property has given them, and they do not care about anything else other than money. These people have no idea how to run a company let alone how to interact with their employees. If you want to work for a company that dehumanizes you, treats you and the labor you give them as meaningless and disposable, work here!
