Cons
Working at Basin has been a frustrating and demoralizing experience. This company does not value its employees, and it shows in nearly every aspect of its operations. Despite raising prices on products consistently, there are no raises or any form of compensation adjustments for the hard work done by the employees. It's clear that profit comes first, and people come last. One of the most disheartening aspects of working here is that no matter how hard you work, it goes completely unnoticed by upper management. There is no recognition or reward for those who go above and beyond. Conversely, employees who put in minimal effort or barely contribute face no consequences either. Without any form of a reward or accountability system, employees are left feeling helpless. There’s no incentive to work hard because it makes no difference in how you're treated or compensated. The management team is also handcuffed. They are essentially puppets, unable to make decisions or lead their teams effectively because upper management micromanages every detail. This lack of autonomy leaves managers and their teams feeling powerless and disengaged. To make matters worse, there is no PTO, and the company refuses to hire additional or new management. As a result, current managers feel trapped, unable to take vacations because there's no one to step in, leaving their teams without any support or structure. This cycle of burnout and frustration spreads through the entire staff, leading to low morale and a sense of being stuck. If you're looking for a company that values its employees and fosters a healthy work environment, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. The work-life balance is non-existent, the compensation is stagnant, and the leadership style is oppressive. Without recognition, incentives, or room for growth, employees are left demotivated and disappointed.
