Pros

Self admission, if HR gets around to getting it to you

Cons

I have some insight as I worked at the flower and garden festival as mod, trained at basin white and later moved to springs as an amod so EVERYONE knows who this is lol I do not care. Management is lucky I don’t go to the board of labor for violating labor laws From the start, my interviewer didn’t show up to the interview and sent me an email 3 hours later that there was an emergency and can we reschedule During training, I barely learned anything and closed out one time. by the time the festival started I was on my own with no one to help me in Germany with my management in the other side of the showcase in the UK I finally had to beg to be shown how to get properly close and they made it happen after a month but upper management had no issues spying on us Some associates made more money than managers bc they cut the pay the year I came on lol We worked outside in over 90 degree heat, sometimes with zero water available to us. often I pulled doubled with just a 30 min lunch usually that had to be outside and a 10 minute water break After the festival I moved to springs my first shift was a mid. Not one person trained me but instead immediately tossed me on register even tho there was 25x the amount of products I had never seen I was never told that I would be getting my hours cut but as a ft employee id be lucky with 17 hours Management at springs was full of mean girls who would rather belittle you than teach you how to do a job they’re so cliquey and mean. Worst job experience of my life HR isn’t helpful good luck with getting an email back I also found out I got paid a dollar less than the other amods once I left

Pros

Having free Disney tickets is literally the only good thing about this job.

Cons

Pay is not good, managers are horrible, warehouse is a toxic and dangerous workplace. Management won't fix simple things like the water fountain so you will have no water to drink all day in a hot warehouse with no heat or AC. Management visits the warehouse with Teslas, designer bags, designer sneakers, meanwhile there has been no pay increases for anyone since pre Covid. Most people there work 2-3 jobs and are on food stamps while the managers live the good life. Managers do not connect with you, bother to remember your name, treat everyone as disposable. The company president was never seen in the 2 years I worked here, all the decisions came from him yet he never even so much as introduced himself to anyone. The company is family owned and they are religious, so if you aren't blood related or a part of their church they will treat you like you are insignificant and invisible. The mismanagement is so bad it's almost entertaining to witness if it wasn't so depressing, because ultimately things take 10x longer than they need to, and you will do unnecessary work to compensate for managers who decide to ignore Slack messages for days while they go golfing. There was bullying happening in the warehouse and in the stores, and the person perpetrating this was promoted. This company isn't worth it, RUN, find literally anywhere else to work. This family has been spoiled living off the money that having multiple stores on Disney property has given them, and they do not care about anything else other than money. These people have no idea how to run a company let alone how to interact with their employees. If you want to work for a company that dehumanizes you, treats you and the labor you give them as meaningless and disposable, work here!
