Pros

Great people to work with. Lively Work environment. Awesome product knowledge with excellent technicians (Geeksquad) Right on Hand.

Cons

High pressure sales for non-commissioned job. Management was very pushy about their numbers. Annual reviews were poorly conducted. Annual raise was very minimal ($.30). New hires were getting paid more than me (I started out making $8.50, annual raise put me to 8.80, new hires were making $9.00 and management wouldn't raise my pay so I left the company.

Pros

Best Buy was arguably my best job I’ve ever worked. The work environment is fun, the recognition from the company is great, you feel connected to your peers, sales is emphasized but not forced down your throat. The customers were overall pleasant. You get your upset people as with any other company but Best Buy there was not much room for disappointment. The growth was there if you want it.

Cons

The pay is not a livable wage past a certain point. With kids and bills I unfortunately had to leave. Growing within Best Buy is kind of a who you know situation. While not horrible, it’s discouraging, or can be rather.

Pros

Travel to different store locations. On travel that requires a hotel meals are covered up to $80 a day. Mileage is reimbursed outside of 20miles from home and back.

Cons

You're required to have a car and it puts alot of strain on it and your body. You could be gone from home anywhere from a few days to a few months. Changes are very last minute.
