      Pros

      I'm a Publisher with BVM and I love it. I get to set my own schedule and work when I want to. I have support from BVM (and a lot of encouragement) when I need it but they don't tell what what to do every single day. I have freedom for the first time in my work life. I have virtually unlimited earning potential. I'm running my own business for the first time and it feels great. The future is bright! I'm looking forward to opening more magazines in my area.

      Cons

      You need to be self-starter for BVM. If you are--the sky is the limit. If you want to punch a clock and collect a paycheck at the end of the week this is not the company for you.

      Pros

      Everyone - from publishers to designers and corporate office staff - is helpful and eager to see the whole team succeed. Other content coordinators are wonderful about sharing information that would be relevant to magazines outside of their area. Quarterly webinars also keep us abreast of what's new.

      Cons

      Some things within the software can occasionally be clunky; but IT listens to suggestions and always works to make improvements.
