      Freedom to choose hours, choose wisely.

      Cons

      The starting bonus compensation is misrepresented. I sat through a week of training and worked full time for just over a month - using my transportation, gas, phone, and my own social media contacts to make a measly $1,000. I also used my own money to buy business cards, presentation materials, etc. No reimbursing for any of it. The training hyped us up to make anywhere from $2,000 to $10,000. Not even close.

      Our Recruiting Team clearly communicates the role and commission model during the interview process. This information is also explained in-depth during initial training. Our Publishers are independent contractors who own their businesses, so optional expenses such as business cards are paid by the Publisher and not BVM. We work with hundreds of entrepreneurs who have found great success with us and we look forward to growing into more communities.

      Pros

      Everyone - from publishers to designers and corporate office staff - is helpful and eager to see the whole team succeed. Other content coordinators are wonderful about sharing information that would be relevant to magazines outside of their area. Quarterly webinars also keep us abreast of what's new.

      Cons

      Some things within the software can occasionally be clunky; but IT listens to suggestions and always works to make improvements.
