Pros
-Work with some insanely intelligent kind people -Supportive atmospher, no one ever was bothered by me asking advice -Benefits were cushy up until 2024 -Still pretty cushy benefits to be honest. -Interesting projects to work on -Room for career mobility -Good and compelling mission (helping your favorite coffee shop take credit cards)
Cons
-CEO kind of has head in the clouds with crypto/defi/etc -Lots of silo-fication. Cash-app is too cool for everybody else, Square is too "corporate" and poor Tidal is only there because Jay Z is friends with Dorsey -They laid me off lol -Management woes at many levels. I had a great manager for my first 2 years and it was all downhill from there.
