Pros
* very good training including online learning and training on contact lens insertion and removal when you're more advanced * you get to learn interesting stuff, eg. taking meassurements of the distance between the pupils, using medical terminology, operating optical eguipment including taking pictures of the back of the eye, you learn how to take patient medical history, and a lot more * good work-life balance - working overtimes is pretty much nonexisting * everyone's very friendly
Cons
the salary is not reflecting how much knowledge you actually need to have to be able to sale prescription glasses! It is such a responsible job!! yet you get paid sometimes less than a regular shop assisstant
